Can anybody reccomend a good app for backing up my music and data base to another hardrive? Something that only copys new or modified files.

dont think you need anything, just make a new folder on hard drive and copy and paste across...

I've been doing that but it wants to overwrite the entire folder. I'm trying to shorten the amount of time it takes to update the backup folder by just tranferring the new info.

you can take a whole backup of your machine and restore it fully including all settings files and licences

in a matter of minutes , instead of spending hours rebuilding

I use to progammes of which i find useful. MTAG5 from Manic , Noclone reasonable, Acronis True image , and Acronis Director suite.
 
Thanks for the info I'll check those out. One more question. What does the * mean when it appears next to the bpm count? I have looked all over the users guide and can't find anything.
 
It mean the tracks are good to go in automix;)
