Most of the professional DJs i've talked to use The Traktor 3 program and they all give me postive feedback on it. But when i've asked them about Virtual DJ it's another story most of them never even heard of it or even use it some say it's not a good program.

if you've ever used traktor, you'd answer that question for yourself...

traktor is no picnic.

Anyone else getting tired of the this vs VDJ threads? One word "demo" find what works for you. Its not always the best way to have someone else decide for you when it comes to DJ software as they are not the ones using it you are.

Yeah there has been alot of posts like this recently,

VDJ v this,
VDJ v that,

All I can say try it before you buy it, and if it is not for you, walk away from it, easy as that. It does my head in.

the best horrible? now, explain how that is possible??and how can you know if you never watched it?
LOL (sorry I just had to do it :P...hehe)

well, i have to say that you need to stand by your product and not be irritated by the A vs. B scenario. People are looking for information. It's quite easy to see if theyre there just to comlpain, in which case ignore.

Those who are actually interested might be persuaded by a good argument to switch.

Evolution of thought never happens on its own, it happens at the end of a good debate.

I have owned them all - yes - I am that old. VDJ is lightyears ahead of the pack. Fanboy? Yes, for good reason.

Traktor is made by Steinberg, they are the volkswagon of DJ software in my view, the engine is rock solid, it's reliable, pricey for what it is and overall: What it does it does very well, but it doesn't do all that much compared to what other products offer for the same money. Also you'll find the support a bit cold.

VDJ on the other hand is super feature-packed, versatile, better value for money (upgrades are free), and generally more fun to drive ;).

VDJ....DJ'S WANTED

A good ass kicking has worked very well for me. This way, I don't have to listen to your side of the story, because sometimes I just don't want to hear it.

Since first release of Traktor the 2 divided wave was a very big limitation in this software and this is the reason why I'm a PRO user of Virtual DJ ;)
