Hi guys,
im new to virtual DJ. Is there anyway i can use my Pc Speakers as my main output and use my Earphones to mix the next song in with? sorry if thats a silly question. if its possible please explain how. thanks

in theory that sounds good, but alas this doesnt work. your pc speakers and headphones or usually wired together as the same output. there is however a feature in vdj for headphone mixing but i havent used it. i think all it is balancing the tracks more so you can hear the cueing track louder than the output, but dont quote me on it.
if you want to use vdj for what it's born for, you need some external mixing device. a good sound card with multiple outputs and a dj mixer, or something like a hercules soundcard/mixer unit as well (again i havent used this, so not an authority).

I agree with Paz75, to use the cueing feature, will need a simply 4.1 or 5.1 soundcard, Creative do them and they are quite cheap,
If you are planning TCV's than look at the maya soundcard.
