Hey i have a quick question about total control. I dont know if this topic has been covered already but i didnt find n e thing on it. For starters im using virtual vinyl with 2cdj and an external mixer. the way i run the program rite now is by leaving the option on 3-lines mixer. i would like to use the external mixer option but i end up having problems with that option such as losing timecode signal to the point where the song is running straight off of the computer. so what i use is 3-lines mixer even though only have 2 channel mixer.
I wanna run the sampler on the program but cant do it off of the 3line mixer option so i wondering a few things. my question is if i buy numark's total control and run it off the 3rd output on the virtual vinyl box would i be able to use the sampler on the software by pressing certain buttons on total control?
i have more questions but imma gonna stop rite here and tackle one thing at a time.

To resolve your 2 line mixer issue try to set , auto-latency in performances and maximum quality , what needles do you use btw? and what is your machine specification?
What does the time-code wave look like small or big?
The total control is not a sound-card or mixer it is a midi controller so would not work in this way.

i am using pioneer cdj1000. im not by my setup rite now but when i get home imma take a look at the wave and let u know. but y is it that i only have that problem on 2 lines and not 3?

If i understand right you want to manage the samples with total control using your virtualvinyl's 3rd output.
The answer is yes. Total control has two section of buttons for samples wich you can use to choose samples change the volume and record a sample.
But if you want to use total control as a soundcard skyfxl is right because total control is just a controller and not a sound device.

thats exactly rite. i wanna be able to use an external mixer as well as totl control to manage the samples and some of the effects. now i was looking at pics of the total control and i dont see any rca inputs which makes me wonder how am i gonna connect it to the 3rd output on my virtual vinyl box.

Go to options > performances
and on this screen drop the menu down to auto latency and try it on fastest , if this works ok try increasing the quality slider.

Go to confiq>sound setup and chose two time codes (if you use time codes) on inputs section and choose 3 channel mixer as outputs.
Now you 3rd output of your virtual vinyl box is for samples so just conect the 3rd outout to your 3rd line of your mixer and you're ready.

I am having the same problem Dichu was having last year...
I am using two turntable timecodes, and would like to use my total control to select songs and to mix songs before going into an external mixer. I have the connectiv soundcard. The set-up works fine for like 15 minutes then the timcodes stop responding. If i unplug the total control and change any of my option settings the timecodes pick up again but am unable to use the total control until i restart VDJ a few times.
Has anyone got a fix to this issue?

That is a limitation of the demo.
