I have the Dmc2 which I love for all the quick looping and control over vdj but I want to get more into scratching and and other tricks. I use to have cdj's and loved the feel of them so I've been thinking about getting a pair of cdj's or turntables and adding timecodes to my set up and still using the dmc2 to control other features of vdj. Can I do this? Which do you recommend, cdj's(or any other cd player) or turntables? I have never used turntables before.
Thank You!

Short answer is yes. I have used both without issues but to use the timecodes you have to switch on the timecode mode which means your start/stop will be controlled by the timecodes and not the DMC2. The looping functions etc will still be the same though. If you are used to CDJ's then you probably want to stick to them, unless you can have a really good go at some turntables and see if you like them before buying. I'm a turntable person and personally hate using CDJ's so I dont touch them if I can help it.

I dont have the DMC2 but I do have the DAC3 that I use with my Numark CDX's. I do use it to control VDJ especially because the LCD display is larger than the display on VDJ and brighter than the display on my CDX's....
