when i pasta all my songs into my playlist. then choose smart from the + menu.


then i click the automixing the music starts.

my problem is and it was happening on the last version. and i reported this.

On certain Songs when it mixes the next song in. but some songs when it hits the automix point it will go blank to the end of the track once it reached the end of the track it will start the next song.

where the ||| is black thats where it goes blank. but where it is black the graph is there it aint emty to say there is no music there or out!

so when the song hits the I it goes blank! till the end of that track the the next track kicks in.

also i tryed music in dif formats and dif settings still aint getting anywhere!

Please can you help asap. cos it sounds stupid with blank bits in between tracks

I too have had this, the song plays fine in normal mode, but plays up in automix mode. I too have no idea what causes it. And as i dont know what track was doing it to me before, perhaps you'd like to send the offending track to DJ CEL. I suspect though as the cue points wouldnt come with the track, that another PC may play it fine.

Have you tried rescanning it, or moving the end cue poit slightly to see if that makes a difference. It may help up pinpoint whats going on!
 
iv tryed everything reinstalling the software copyed the song in dif formats. its not just one song its certain songs. and there aint no blanks bits where it puts the automix thing. even tryed it on me laptop the virtual software but still some songs it goes blank when its ment to mix it at the automix point etc.
 
Hi, this is a bit of a long shot, but have you installed the latest version of direct x?

yes downloaded direct x and restarted my computer and still not working

if anyone has the nokia media player iv recorded what it does
goto. and open it with the Nokia Media player or out that plays mp4

Is it only with the smart mode of the automix?

Does it appear in fade mode?
 
Yeah only in smart, works on all the rest of them. except the SMART one any ideas mate?
 
Can you tell me if the songs used in smart mode have a star next to the bpm?
 
Yes some have the * next to the bpm and some songs aint! what does this mean?
 
The star means that the automix will use a tempo mix otherwise it will be either a fade mix or cut mix
 
but why is it leaving a blank gap
 
We are trying to reproduce it but we need more data to understand it.

Is it an automix between 2 songs with 2 stars? Or from one song with a star to another song without star? Or from one song without a star to another song with a star?

could one file be corrupted?
 
Can you easily reproduce it with the same track 7 ?
 
no file is currepted iv tryed copying the songs in dif format like mp3 and wma and doesnt make any changes at all it happens on random songs! and the songs play fine when its played on its own. it works for with the dif modes etc its just smart. i notice if you edit the BPM button and click the edit automix and if you untick the mix tempo it wont make a silent between the two tracks when it hits the mix point. but u have to keep doing this all the time. so something needs fixing somewhere some how. also i have virtual dj on me laptop and i tryed it on me desktop computer and it was doing the same on me desktop leaving gabs between songs
 
I am also expriencing the same problem. When mixing video clips in automix mode, there is a gap/silence for a fraction of a secound (a short gap) in allomst every mix. It happens only when doublie clicking for next song.

It Happens both in WinXP and Windows 7. I am using DELL 745 (Core 2 d) 4GB with ATI Radeon HD 5670. My sound card is ESI MAYA 44 in ASIO.

Have you solved this problem ???
