Dave...look off to the right, just above this box the underlined word Quote? Click on it..and I think you'll find what you are looking for.

you use "quote"
on the top right side of the post

acknowledge bbcode disclaimer bottom left of page before it can work,when posting your next new message

Also should be noted, when writing a message, there is an option for Standard or BB Code. If BB Code is selected, there are a ton of tricks you can do. Once BB Code is selected (you may have to accept terms and conditions/disclaimer if you select it for the first time), scroll to the very bottom of page where you write your message and there will be a list of BB CODES and what they do.

Codes do require the [] around them and to end the code, [/CODE].

How is this not intuitive? Unless you don't know the word "quote" :)
 
Because I believe you dont see the word Quote til you agree to the BBcode, so if someone didnt see that then they didnt know it was even there or how to use it.
 
Why is that when I post a YouTube movie it's not show up? Is there a trick? I am doing [YOUTUBE] Video Code [/YOUTUBE]
and it is not working. What's the trick?

The Video code is everything in the URL after the= sign. I have never used capitols when I [youtube]

That I didn't consider. And that definately isn't intuitive, quote should be always present,
and BBcode disclaimer should pop up after you click it, if not yet agreed.
 
Its been so long I dont even remember:)
 
I just want to note something... What I do is try to find a topic that is almost relevant to question that's on my mind. This is so I don't look dumb if the question has been answered already. lol Also if you post a message in a topic that's like really old, it will be pushed back to the top of the line awaiting an answer.
