Ok here is my set up and what i'm thinking.
Cue LE - Upgrading to full version in a couple of weeks
Numark Total Control
Numark DJIO
Pretty basic for now.
Now i'm thinking of adding 2 Numark CDX's. I was wondering what you guys think of these and if i could control VDJ with these tables/cdj. Will they work with the time code? Can i have all three devices hooked up and playing at the same time?(if yes, what mixer would you suggest? ie: 2, 3 or 4 channel? make/model?
Thanks for any feedback

if you plan to use vdj alone and nothing else, then a 2 channel mixer is what you need.
other wise, i strongly suggest a 4 ch mixer. for use with other devices: cd player, ipod, etc.
suppose you want to browse random songs from your infinite source of music collection. with 4 channels, you can browse on ch 3 and leave ch 1 & 2 for vdj
here is my setup
ch1: vdj left
ch2: vdj right
ch3: pc audio (browse random music with winamp)
ch4: cd player (backup in case computer crash or if requested by host to play a cd)
as far as brand, any brand will do.. vdj has all of the effects a mixer could have built in.
behringer is at the bottom. pioneer is at the top. denon is in the middle. personally, i would go for the behringer. no point in spending all that money.

I use VDJ with cdxs and tccds with a 4 channel mixer. I use 1 for my mics since I do karaoke, 2&3 for VDJ, and 4 for my ipod.
You shouldnt have any problems with the cdxs and tccds. Just make sure your pc is up to date with updates and drivers, especiall directx.
I did use my mk2 for a bit but I upgraded to a MAYA44 USB.

numarks' cdx's are native controllers for vdj.

Can anybody tell me how alike are the CDX's to real TT's?? Are they worth the $600/each price tag?? Or am i just wasting my time?
Thanks again.

I have use my CDX's with Torq for a year and just start it using them with VDJ. I really love my CDX's as a matter of fact i got a good deal on some 1200's,but i have a heavy hand when it comes to scratching and juggling so went back to my CDX's. They're also very responsive with VDJ.

Well after reading endlessly on the CDX's with all their problems and the possiblity of them being discontinued, i've decided to steer clear of them. And I am now going with the iCDX's.
Just trying to find out how to use my Total control and the iCDX's at the same time with VDJ. Also wondering how much functionality i will be losing on the TC. For exaple, i know the iCDX's do FX's and loops, will i still be able to these things on the TC? Or will it turn into a basic 2 channel mixer?
