it was a bit after 2:30, the floor was getting a little weird so i decided to "lighten the mood" and mixed out of Grillz right into "Because I Got High". i look up the the floor is goin' nuts and what do i see right below the booth? two upstanding members of our police department taking a walk-through of the bar. they walk up and in, and are standing behind me so i grab mic -
"y'all take a look up at the booth and see who's standing behind me!... ain't that some sh&t!? sorry y'all but i feel like i just narc'ed on everybody" slammed mixed out and they were still laughing too hard to dance.

yeah.. sometimes it just falls together. we're on good terms with our locals and we keep the club safe and ALWAYS keep them in the loop.
