A while back I said I was going to design a site with clips for AV battle DJ's and music vids for more underground music and so its come to lite and avbattle.net is born
I'm now looking for content from VJ's and AV artists to sell via the site...
Here's the deal I want mainly DJ tools to begin with e.g. clips of film (obviously don't go robbing whole sections of a film as that may anger the studios that produced it) but rather small snippits of film like you would here on a battle record and the more obscure the clip the better! + you could get really creative with some animation
Also if you have any of your own VJ footage loops e.t.c. that is aimed at club visuals then I would also be interested in selling through the site.
I will need any clips that are made in standard def DV (NTSC or PAL) as avi(DV) or mov(DV) preferably PAL avi (DV).
I am going to account monthly via Paypal direct to whome so ever submits the clips and the share of monies will always be in there favour (I hate big E-sellors that rip people off for there art).

Very cool idea Ian. I'll try and upload some clips when I get a chance. I'm not sure what format they are in off the top of my head but they play in VDJ with decent quality.

Cheers, I'm still just running through checks with payment options but paypal is working fine through the site so all good. Just needing content before I start promoting it.
Dont worry too much about format. I would prefer DV because I can encode to mpeg2 and mp4 with a standardized set of setting for each so that videos don't differ on the site.
