Topic: MacBook Pro & Total Control Freeze Up

Last night during my little gig, in the middle of playing one of my tracks the audio starting to fade out by itself, and then all of a sudden the sound cutoff............ I had to go into config and actually click on the audio config to enable it again............ Does anyone have any idea???

Hi Los sorry to hear of your problems.

Some quick questions , are you using leopard or tiger? Are you using 5.07 [cue] ? Which sound-card do you use?



 
not sure what is leopard or tiger?
I'm using 5.07 cue
I have the numark DJ IO Sound Card

Ok go to Apple > About this Mac and it will tell you what version of Osx you use.

If you use 10.5 :

Unfortunately the drivers for the DJ/io are not 10.5 compliant yet testing is underway of a new driver.

If you use 10.4:
Which mac do you own? if you own a macbook white or black ensure you have the latest updates for Osx as there are issues with the usb ports on these models which have been addressed in updates.


 
I Have version 10.5
2.6 Ghz Core 2 Duo
4 GB 667 Mhz

Is there a place where I can learn more about the mac and numark?
