But i was wondering If everything will work out okay
I don't know much about turntables/mixers etc I'm learning everyday about it, i just want something

heya,,

The stanton t80 is decent enuff n worth it.. I myself use it. It is important to get direct drives tt n much torque when doing TCV. The importance things is the catriges.. The recommended ones are the ortofon n the shure but i say even the stanton discmaster II, perform well to me.

The specs u listed is ok n good to go with correct set up.

N remember u can get the discount when u purchase the pro version as u own the dj console mp3.

Hey thanks alot bro

thats all i wanted to know so are you saying i need better cartridges ?

and one more thing i get confused they have like 2 versions of the Maya44 USB i think does it matter which one i get?

thank you again

DJ KHOP

Yes cos the one they bundled with is not on par to use with TCV.. n with the gen 3 TCV, it stated the best would use the ortofon n the shure. Search n Read in the forums. There several thread on it;)

Maya44 usb, as i knoe there are only one.. not sure abt the 2 version..

Just be sure that u need at least 4 mono (2 stereo) in 4 mono (2 stereo) out audio cards/interfaces.

Hope to see u soon with us:)

So i have to purchase these? or they come with Turntables/Mixer?

As for the cart you was telling me about stanton discmaster II

will the Discmaster.V3 work as good?

I won't buy my turntables online though i will get them from GuitarCenter
thats only thing they have Discmaster II might be discontinued or doesnt carry it anymore?

sorry to keep bugging you with these questions

Np here;)

The 4in /4out the examples is the maya44 usb.. or u46dj or herc mk2 n many more.
Just be sure to have at least 4 in/ 4 out as u gonna need them to use both turntables.. to timecoded.

The V3, i need not have the chance to test it but will soon.. Abt the V2, yes i afraid it been discontinued n the only chance u get is the left over stock.

I think it best u get the ortofon digitracks or the shure m44-7. But i recommend u get the digitracks as they are proven to werk great with gen 3 TCV.

Cheers:)

Thanks again! i also searched the site and i downloaded the manual on how to hook
everything up to maya44usb. :)

I just finished reading the manual on hooking up everything for timecode

and i was reading were it says "External mixer with atleast 3 channels"
The Stanton SMX201 is two channel so this is "incompatible" right?

Two channel mixer is fine. I was wondering where people were getting the info that a 3 channel mixer is necessary, didn't realize it was in the manual. I think you can use the third channel for sample volume, but no it is not necessary.

i use the smx 201 daily i love that 2 channel mixer.

Yep as djej n 101010101 stated, 2 channel mixer could be use, so no problem there.:)

So purchasing all this ?

Stanton T.80 (x2)
Stanton SMX201
Maya44 USB
Virtual DJ 5 software
Virtual DJ timecoded vinyls (x2)

and a Stanton Discmaster II or Stanton Discmaster .V3

i shouldn't run into any problems right ?

thanks again!

yes if u configure it well.

Updated get the digitracks instead,, it werk great with timecodes vinyl n made for it.

Digitracks ? i looked it up on google i found it was software.
so your saying it works with the timecode vinyls to if so
that is cool!

nope it not that;) software??hehe.

its this one, the ortofon concorde digitracks.

Those look pretty cool
i also searched guitar center website
and i didn't find them there or anywhere online
basically. Tomorrow is my day to purchase my
turntables :) so if you could remember, who
brought you, your timecoded vinyls
UPS or FEDEX i hope its one of those
two cause our mailman over passes so
late LOL.

Yes, i am in the USA (Baton Rouge,LA)

I purchased my turntables today.

The store was all out of T.80's so i picked up the Stanton T.90's which i think is a better pick up.
i ordered my timecoded VDJ vinyls and my maya 44 usb also, will i need extra RCA Cables ? for
maya usb ? im kind of clueless on that ?? i bought two rca cables for my turntables though.

T90 is abt the same as the t80 but only cos it have the usb options;)

Yes u need extra 2 rca cables from ur maya to the mixer.

Search the forum abt how to set the maya...or if u have difficulities, just ask:)

There be ppl who use the maya could help.
