Been thinking about trying this software out for a couple of weeks. Just watched a demo of this software on Youtube and I'm quite impressed by it, and the price, only $58, not bad I think.
I mix alot of uplifting/vocal house and Trance tracks and I think it would help me alot.
Has anybody used it, or using it to improve there mixing. Also what do you think of the software.

I strongly recommend you get MixMeister instead.
Specially the version 6 demo, that will never run out, and will analyze all your songs for keys... .for FREE, forever
Not only that, it analyze a LOT faster than Mixed In Key, and has a FAR better detection of keys, than Mixed In Keys (that uses the Tonart algo).
There are other free apps that work better than Mixed in Key too, but they are slow, but more accurate.
MixShare most worth mentioning, the best key detection there is. But its very slow...
As far as harmonic mixing goes (using keys), its golden. Only way to sound like Tiesto or any other dj god... It sounds smashing.

The v7 version might never end too, not sure...
I got the v6, and its a demo that never expires...
http://dl4.mixmeister.com/pro6demo/pro6wbe.exe
All functions wont work forever without a nag voice (mixing), but for analyze BPM and keys, its like having a full version that never ends ;)
I use it all the time

Looks good, got 2 little questions though
1st Question, How do you put the Key of the tracks in VirtualDJ, manually or does MixMeister do it for you.
2nd Question, How do you use it...hehe. Only kidding, will figure it out.

I have yet to figure out how to bulk add all the key info to tracks..so I do a bunch at a time..right mouse on a song and you'll see a box with key info tick it...also make sure you select key info to be displayed in your browser Jimmy.
Here is how you use it http://www.harmonic-mixing.com/overview/easymix.mv (Thanks to DJ Andrew Landry for sharing this link with me)

Just import the folders of music you want to analyze into Mixmeister, and Mixmeister saves it in the Key tag.
VirtualDJ automatically reads the key tags. If a song is already analyzed in VDJ, you can refresh the tag, one or multiple files, by right-click and choose >> File >> refresh tags.
In VDJ you can multi select files with SHIFT and/or CTRL keys pressed.

And when you are ready, use the Camelot Key system to mix
BEGINNER HARMONIC MIXING
You are mixing harmonically when you subtract one (-1), add one (+1), or stay in the same number.
In other words 12A is harmonic to 11A, 1A and 12B.
(btw, MixMeister sees all songs as A (major), but thats ok, still pretty harmonic)
Try moving UP on the scale to lift the mix, down to mellow the mix.
ADVANCED HARMONIC MIXING
A trick (what most do forget that start mixing with keys), mixing harrmoic all the time gets boring, so you need to ELEVATE every now and then by using a MODULATION (harmonic lift, feels like a lift on the dancefloor, yet its harmonic)
Thats done by (+7) on the chart above
(this trick is the MOST overlooked one on harmonic sites such as Mixed In Key etc... )
And its a very NEEDED trick (specially on house/dance etc), to LIFT the atmosphere every now and then (as key mixing can tend to sound like "one song going on for ever" since keymixing sound soooo damn good). If you mix in one key for too long, it gets boring. So lift by one step, often (on the scale), and 7 when you need to give a kick/lift
Other Modulation that can be done, is add 2 and stay in same letter, or go from minor to major in staying in the same note: Gm to GM, but these last two modulations, don't sound as good.
And for those just reading this thread... : KEY MIXING is IT! ;)
Avoid those sour mixes... and step up to the PRO level of harmonics ;)

What mixed in key don't tell you is that after you made your $58 dollar purchase, you must be connected to the internet to use the damn thing!
I don't want to connect my gig machine to the net just to anaylize, so for me. No good!
Mixmeister or Rapid evolutions Mixshare are cool, and you don't need to touch the net!

I love MixShare, its what got me into harmonic mixing. And I used it all up to VDJ5, for key browser.
For the analyze of keys, I used Mixmeister (faster), and imported it into MixShare (used as browser for VDJ).
The AWESOME thing with Mixshare is that it will auto find soungs that are harmonic, and live change the list, as you change pitch etc.
A feature I hope to see in VDJ one day...

I use mixed in key, it seems to work fine. As for the internet connnection, I do all my tagging and massaging of files on a seperate system and move the files to my external hdd after, saves on the read/writes of my working drive. (my working drives don't see nearly enough work yet)
I will check out the mixmiester, always looking for another great tool.

Got me head around it now, and scanned all my House and trance tracks. Had a slight cock up with the tagging bit, but got it now.
Just got to say it's Awesome.
BTW, why can't we have a Automix like MixMiester, it's cool..hehe, only kidding folks.

I own and use Mixed in Key and love it. Also the BPM detection is far superior to VDJ and Mixmeister

@ Skyfxl
It a nice software but one thing that bother me that it detects the track in minor..?Or is it the limitation of the demo?
Will there be improvement on this on the latest version, detecting the major etc as well?
Regards.
