I'm really out of words here, I couldn't have thought of technology making THIS possible!

That's interesting but what about the selection of music? I don't ever see that working. I think it's a fantasy.
& I can't get that stupid song off my head.

Actually I posted this not because it was interesting but more like funny (esp. considering some stuff on the web site, looks like a joke at first) atleast until you realize that who would put so much effort on a joke like this...
Now as for song selection it definitely does look too simplistic for being serious but when there's a computer inside then that's a software problem, maybe in v2 you could hook in a portable player, have software cut the selected tracks into loops and then "build up" the music by playing the loops. Throw in some automix thing like in VDJ and it's not that far fetched. After this I would expect little better lighting than the ~$100 that's probably the total value of the lights included.

hehe, wouldn't be too bad if it was only lights & effects without audio. It's like I told my granddad 20 years ago, computers just can't mix the way a person can;^]

If they are serious, it's a great piece of work, but it won't work. It will still cost you a grand to rent it, because it still has to get there. Four roadies(stairs), plus a van. Oh, you have more then twenty people, you need one for every twenty people. Oh, and you will need two bouncers at $100.00 an hour, to keep the drunk from drop kicking it, when it plays a pucked up song. It looks good, and someone will buy it.

for now this thing is a total gimmick. might be interesting when you have a bunch of 5 year olds over for a b-day party or something. this implementation seems a bit silly. i dont give an ass to be rewarded with a bunch of lights for dancing , i wanna reward the dj for getting me to dance with wicked tunes. that element will never go away, but it is an interesting idea towards automating certain things.

IF I had enough money to buy the doppler radar to put in it I would simply retire from Djing and if I did ever run out of that money I cound make much more improperly predicting the weather!
They should have waited until NEXT Tuesday to post it!
