Just downloaded a new freeware virus scanner cause my norton subsrciption ran out (downlaeded AVAST) and the new scanner found a trojan called "win32:PEED-M" in the sonique file "CosmicNebulae.svp"....it was in my original download (of the "cleaned" up sonique versions) as well as the one installed in the program plug-ins folder
You may want to double check yours!!!!!!!!
I wonder if this is what caused the random crashes I had St. Patrick's weekend? DevTeam said the error code indicated a plug-in problem.

I think this was reported before.
If you look at the DJ Cel certified Sonique group, you will see that one missing.
Best to dump and reload the plug in.

Interesting, My Virtual dj dissapeared off the screen this weekend without any warning!
I would of posted an error code, but as I had no crashguard screen come up, there was no error code to post!
I will check my sonique, Is it just a simple case of binning this file. Happy to do this for the sake of reliability.
It has done this several times to me now, only when video is enabled though. When using audio only, its fine! 100%!
At this point I dont feel I can do videos all the way through, everytime I try, I get these random shutdowns of vdj, windows still running
happily in the background.
More info on this would be great.
Best regards,
Dave

I did check it, maybe you should delete all of the sonique files and reload it.
That file is not in the current download.

Reason this is happening to a few (now removed) Sonque plugins, are they are really made by users for a media player called Sonique, that is now abandonware (no longer excist).
A couple of the plugin makers, didnt like that other software (WinAmp,VDJ etc) started supporting the plugins, and made nag messages in the plugins etc.
Its nothing dangerous, and the bad ones are removed in the latest plugin-pack DJ Cel have uploaded to this website.
