i just wanna know how come when browsing through the forums and going to the next page and so on, i keep seeing the same topics,
It's kinda annoying !!!

I know what you mean.
If you visit for example the General area some topics you see on page 1 will also appear on page 2. It is annoying

Well the thing is, the first page displays the unread topics, and the value that
limits number of displayed topics per page is higher (or unlimited, dunno) for
unread topics as opposed to read topics.
So when you read the first page and go to the second, it displays the part
of the previously unread topics that now fit into second page.
