Hi one and all, first post so please go easy. I dj in Bournemouth England and currently use Ots, I must say I'm very happy with it. However I'm getting more and more involved in playing videos and I'm extremely impressed with Vdj's viedeo effects, transitions etc.
My point for posting is, after trawling through all the documents and this forum I can't find how many effects and transitions are available. I'm trying out the demo mode and it's going well but there's only a limited amount of effects and transtions on there.
So there you go and thanks for any help you can give.

unfortunately the majority if not all of the effects are for pro users only as are the skins, i had the same problem some time back while deciding to go for the pro software myself, in the meantime you could try out the clipbank by making ads for any venues you work at, the management will be well happy with you seeing there venue up on screen, if and when you decide to go pro give me a shout and i will be able to help you out on some stuff for it

Thanks Tayla, I appreciate that. Sorry but my point is how many effects are available if I take the plunge and purchase V dj - 10, 30, 50, 100?
As I said Ots does well for me but the effects on V dj are appealing but I can't justify the outlay for say just 10 to 20 effects.
Many thanks also for your offer of help, much appreciated.
Simon.

Just to let you know those VDJers don't take kindly to us CUE users. Tayla, Jimmy, AMAHM and Terry are just bullies.

HOOOOLLLLDDDDDD on there Fat, my little buck-a-roo......I was one of the very first CUE users to become a regular poster here.....and THE very first CUE user to become a Radio DJ and the only Cue user to ever become either Moderator or Radio Teamer. Now Fat....care to rethink that? But as per Tayla and AMaHM..yeah they hate everyone..lol....

Thank you all kindly. The big problem I have now and trust me it is BIG is that I have to convert all my tunes from Ots files to mp3's. Okay that may not be that much of an issue but then they all have to put in genres etc.
I'm a tad confused as to which is the best way to do get tracks ready for Vdj. I'm thinking maybe put everything in i tunes then use that.
Anybody offer any ideas please.
Cheers
Simon. :o)

Hi I do belive you called me earler this week about some idears for video any ways,
There are two ways to go about it :
1. Make folders for each genre , then an artist subfolder and use a program like tag and rename to ensure that all the tracks are tagged correctly.
2. Use itunes to organise your tracks and then use the itunes function in the browser to acess your libary
Kind Regards
