Thanks in Advance

Hi, the filter smooth option in the 48khz <->44khz option box will increase the sound quality when playing files that were recorded at a sample rat of 48Khz (DVD audio, for example). It will take more cpu power though. BTW. CDs are recorded at 44kHz sample rate, so the 48kHz<=>44KHz options will not affect standard CD rips (unless you've specifically told your ripping program to do it at 48kHz- but there's not point doing that).
So it'd be best to have it "ticked", but if you have any problems, then just untick it.
Hope that helps.
[Edit] Just noticed that the "scratch" box has a filter smooth option as well. It's pretty much the same thing. Higher sound quality but more computer power is needed for it to work.
