Sorry if this has been posted before, I did a search but couldn't come up with anything.
What I need to do if possible is~
(This is a question just for the music side of things for the time being)
My main gig PC has 2 HDD's one for music and the other for video.
Now at home I use a Laptop with 2 external HDD's 1 for music the other for video. I use this laptop to search for tunes to make a playlist.
What I want to do is save the playlist and add it to the playlist on my gig pc. So that when I click playlists on my gig pc the tunes show up and are playable
What do I have to do?
Is it possible? Sorry my pc skills are limited.
What I am guessing is the file names and HDD letters have to be the same?
Cheers in advance

You can copy the playlist m3u file from DOC > VDJ folder and place in the same location in the other computer.

I think I have tried that before but the list of tunes won't load in the gig pc.
The playlist shows up but doesn't work when you click a tune

Yes it's possible. And yes, the file names and HDD letters have to be the same. If you right click your playlistfile in windows, and choose open in notepad, you will see the format of the playlistfile looks something like this:
#VirtualDJ Playlist
#MixType=Smart
G:/Musicfolder/Pussycat Dolls Feat Timbaland - Wait A Minute.avi
G:/Musicfolder/Daddy Yankee - Rompe.mpg
G:/Musicfolder/Angel Y Khriz - Fua.mpg
G:/Musicfolder/Wisin and Yandel - Rakata.mpg
You got two options:
1. Rename the file names and HDD letters to be the same.
2. Edit the playlistfile in notepad to match your path in the other computer.
Ex: Open playlist in notepad --> Edit --> Find and replace... --> "Replace 'G:/Musicfolder' with 'C:/Subfolder/Musicfolder'" --> Replace all --> Save.
Hope it was a little help :)

Excellent! Just sorted out the playlist I saved last week. As you said all I have to do was change the drive letter and the name of the file on the HD and it worked.
I've now renamed the extrnal HDD altogether for future playlists saving
Cheers again
