get a Dell laptop. if you must have the best graphics, get a XPS gaming model. i have a XPS m1530 with 4gb ram 2.6 GHZ dual core 2 intel, full HD res display (nvidia 250mb graphics card) and some other specs.. i use fruity loops, digidesign protools, sony vegas, avid expresspro on this lappy with zero issues--ooh and i use VDJ 5 and the RMX on it. no hiccups at all. i have had 3 lappys from DELL all are good...

All new PC laptops su**k ba**s when it comes to graphic. Direct X 10 & Vista killed the game. They act worse than 128MB DX9 graphic.
Look at the specs for VDJ now. It requires 1GB non mobile graphic wtf??
I am selling my PC & jumping on Mac.
Once again Vista + DX10 graphic cards killed it all. Somebody outta sue those ba***rds!!

You can use DirectX 9 cards on Vista also. Video is working better on Vista then XP.

Anyone heard anything about the 9 series graphics card. My computer geek says that he tried it out one and it was super fast but I didnt have time to talk in detail about it... this was a couple of days ago when he brought it up.
