Ive just got round to upgrading my gig machine to 5.6 from 4. something, every time i click in the search bar in the browser a box flashes up for a couple of seconds saying recursing with a button saying stop, is this right? or have i not set something up right.

Go to the main music folder and recurse that folder.

What you are seeing is a folder that IS being recursed. If this is not desirable for you, you can turn it off. Right-click the folder, and untick "recurse."

It means to recurse through a folder and its sub-folders to list all songs contained within it.
Normally this shouldn't be necessary if you have added all your music to your database. You can find a song simply by searching for it.
