I am doing a Greek wedding this weekend and Dad gave me 4 gigs of greek music to play.

The files are .wma. I am correct, these can not be played with vdj? At least I couldn't get them to work.

So I bought Tunebite (www.tunebite.com) to convert the files to MP3. The convertion went with no errors. All files are mp3 now.

When I open VDJ and scan the folders, add them to the data base.... some of them are coming up with errors and will not play. I double and triple check the files and they are mp3 files. I could send one via email to someone that is willing to help me out with this issue.

So if I can not get the files to work right in VDJ, I plan on using Windows Media Player for the Greek songs. Is there a way I can get the WMP to work through my DJiO sound card?
Also when I high light several songs. (lets say 5 for now) then right click . . Play with WMP. . . the files load in a random order. Is there a way I can tell it to play them as highlighted. Adding one at a time sucks.

Right now I have it coming out of my headphone jack into my mixer. It works, but doesn't sound the best. . .

I am really needing some help here guys. . . Please respond with any advise.

email - mail at jeremy ganss dot com.

If willing or easier, I can call to chat about it.

I think this is slightly wrong, Napster WMA files play lovely with VirtualDJ, you might get 1 or 2 that show a error due to the license explied. I started of using Napster, when I first used VirtualDJ 3.4

I have now converted all my tracks to mp3 ;)

that's very strange.. i couldn't get them to play... I'll have to go back and try again.

well, some of the .wma files play and some don't.

I am guessing, GUESSING, it might have to do with the Greek letters. Does anyone know if vdj is compatible with the entire Greek alphabet.

I remember reading about problems with the Greek letters in the past. Maybe a forum search will turn something up. Good luck ;)
