Hey guys its been a while since I have been on here. I have a few questions. I am getting ready to start up the video mixing and I have been given a very good laptop that getting fixed right now. I need to know how long it would take to copy a Terabyte hard drive to another one? I am going to get some videos and I need to know how long it takes to copy and what is the fastest way.

I also want to know how well the time coded cds work in cdj 800 and cdj 1000's. I want to control the videos thru the time coded cds. How accurate are they and what is latency?

Is there anyone on here that lives close to Reno, NV?

Assuming that it will be done using USB 2.0 then basically u will need the copying to be done over a day or so.
As for timecode cds.. .they work very well on both cdjs... There is no visible latency... but... that may have to be gained by tweaking the software to mactch your laptop etc. This is also dependent on the version of vdj u have.....

going into video... i can only give u this advice.... get the professional version of vdj..... u will be missing out on tons of help and assistance.... Video Juggling is not cheap..... buy the software... I assure u u will not regret it.
