Got to give to you guys 5.1 is certainly stable. Did a 6 hour gig last night not one hitch. During testing i plugged / unplugged external devices as sometimes this was an issue and all was well. Unfortunatley some of the newer 5.1 skins won't allow VDJ to start up dispite having a highter resolution on the system where has before they worked fine, but this is not an issue now. i still can,t trust the Karaoke plugin as there is definitly issues there however i will check drivers and net software.
Having tried PCVJ out of the box the software worked fine, I do recognise that its the same engine designed by the VDJ team so wonder if alot of conflicts in the past with VDJ closing with out warning was a skin issue.
Not gonna dwell on past issues any more I just wanna say a big thinkyou for getting it right for my needs.

i did 6 hours last night and rocked the house big time ..only thing i got was when it froze on me and i had to unplug the total control and then it went back to normal..nothing to worry about ..lol being the computer geek that i am ..i will figure out the IRQ problem ..hopefully....no life troubleshooting..loll

I did a 6hr set at my club too on the weekend and noticed a big improvement in CPU usage over 5.07.
Did not have any hiccups through the nite, only while setting up i noticed an older Skin i normally use seemed to be doing some funny things so reverted to DJ Formats MIX Lab Skin and rocked the club all night.

Did a non stop 18 hr cancer walk Friday and Saturday...I think the cpu meter is broken.
Played audio, video and karaoke all night with no problems at all.

48 hrs non stop streaming music... no issues and CPU is still around 25% how cool is that

Maybe an option about the karaoke:
Normally you add somebody to a karaokesong.
If it's possible it would be great that when you added somebody, this will also be added to a log file.
Then, when we have an error, we can close the virtualdj and we still have all the people who wanted to sing in the log file.
Is that an idea ?
By the way, did have two gigs (totally 12 hours) and no problems !!!
