Topic: Just a Thought....

A long time ago before the internet, i used to talk on CB radio and we had "eye balls " meanning, we meet up at a certain spot and hang out with the people we spoke with on that channel. I think it would be cool to set up a date where we can meet and hangout. I live in NY and if anyone from Queens, brooklyn, the bronx, manhattan, Long Island, conneticut, new jersey, staten island, weschester and the rest if you are not far away from NY. We can meet up to go bowling or do something.. What do you think..

Damn, why is Norway so far away... Maybe if I start swimmin the ocean today, I'll make it in time.. ;)

I'm in. I live in the bronx and stop by the local uptown bar and lounges when i have the energy to do so. If you get enough people together i'm sure we can all find something to do on a off night.

How about June 28th on a Saturday if its too ealry, maybe next month in july Any sugestions on what to do for that day....
 
That's the down side to this business. I am booked solid every friday and saturday between now and mid september doing mobile gigs. Weekdays are best for me with a time limit because i have a day job. I know thursdays at jet set where bananas but they just got shut down. If it's gotta be a saturday we'll have to wait a while.

You guys are a little far from me but I'd be interested in meeting anyone from the Seattle/Portland area??
 
That sounds like a good idea. I know back in the day there used to be user groups for people that used certain programs. They would meet, hang out and talk about the best ways to get the most out of the software they were using. But mostly the time was just to be social. We need one for the Chicago area.
