Topic: USB Mixer with 2 ports-output CH1 only-Why?

Windows 2K, on Laptop, connected master output from laptop to deskktop speakers, set up config in VirtDJ with Output as External Mixer, Primary Sound card-USB and Secondary Sound card-usb. Tried messing with Sound and Multimedia setting in Control Panel, no luck. What am I missing?

windows 2000 lacks files needed for it to work correctly.
