Hello, everyone, I just bought a Behringer DDM4000 mixer. VDJ is not recognizing my TCV's, it's givng me a message no timecode signal found in setup. I have the mixer connected to the M-Audio Uno, MIDI to USB. It's giving me a loud hissing noise when I try to play a song. Can someone help?

I think that might be your problem.

For VDJ to recieve the timecode signal from the vinals you need a 4 in 4 out ASIO sound card. I see you already have the MKII which is a effective soundcard for Timecode use; so you'd hook the tunrtable to the line IN on the MKII and the MKII outs to the mixer.

Then run the mixer with the mapper available in the download section to control the crossfader and volume etc.

Thanks DJ MArcel, but I've read a couple of posts here that they were not using the mK2 with the mixer. Just the M-Audio. Also, thanks for the help JImmy, you were a big help.

I've got a pic up of the rear of the DDM, the 3 midi sockets which sockets are you using with your M-Audio thingy

OUT and THRU, or OUT and IN, or THRU and IN

I think your problems lies here, somewhere, lol
 
I'm using MIDI OUT (from the M-Audio) to MIDI OUT to mixer and MIDI IN to MIDI IN. I just noticed that when I go to config, remote control, I see the general midi in red. Yesterday, it was in green. I already downloaded the mapper.

I bet you know this anyway Green means it activated, red means it's not.

All you have to do is activate it.
 
When you are in the Sound set up page of the VDJ config, what do you choose, can you "see" the DDM in the Soundcard Option.

e.g.

Input:Timecodes
Output:Heaphones
Soundcard(s):Asio Icon
Soundcard: DDM400

Or something similar?



 
I using:

input : tc
output: mixer
soundcard: I have three choices, I ASIO4ALL, Behringer (that's for my UCA202, there's not DDM selection) and Herc MK2 (I sold it)

How do I cange the color from red to green? It says it's already activated.
