Hello everyone, I need some help. I am not getting any signal from my TT's. When I click auto-config, this it the error mesage it's giving me:
"No timecode signal found. Please play a time code vinyl on turntable and try again. If it's still not working, check cables and volumes of your soundcard."
All volumes are o.k. cables are hooked up properly and I bought two timecodes from VDJ. Can someone PLEASE help.

What soundcard are you using? Also which version of VDJ are you using?

I am using the Behringer UCA202 usb sound card, also I have the 5.1 but using version 4 for TC's. I just bought the Behringer DDM4000 mixer which has MIDI in and out. It is a usb connection. I need to know how to resolive this.

You do not have enough inputs for two tt/cds you need a 4 in 4 out card to use time code.

Can someone refer me to a soundcard? Reasonable priced. Thank you.

I sold my MK2 last week, thinking I did not need it with the DDM4000.

well if you are doing DJing professionally I would suggest getting a nice card. I used a Motul Ultralite $550.us retail It worked great! Low latency for timecode, however I have the Ecler EVO 5 which has sound card built it and that runs about 1800-1900us....however less wires and if you have a coffin, u can be set up and running in 10 minutes.

Thanks for the info, but as of now, that's a little over my budget. Wife is expecting second child. I need something around the MK2 price range or lower. I was liooking at the M-Audio Delta 44. Would this work?

I've got a ESI Maya44 mate, I use with my TCV's. It's a really good all rounder. Easy to set up and Latency is quite low.
You can pick one up in your part of the world for just over $100, Rish.
