A recommendation for good DJ posture (live performance)? Any?
Mostly, djs arching his back towards the equipment...could be an uneasy feeling mostly at the end of the show, esp. long hours of djing.
Seating down is a big no no also...right?
So what would it be?

you could try crossing your legs, one hand on left hip and the other hand palm pressed on the back of head, try that, now how doe's that feel... lol

i can't do that tayla coz my two hands are occupied most of the time holding the head of the chick under my table!!! and so with my legs spreading out mostly!!!so what would it be?lolz
 
I'm lazy. I have a bar stool behind the decks...
 
i just try not to end up face down in the buffet ......

so far , even i can't download scartch vinyl .......

ya know how people crab walk under the limbo bar ???? well just do that , hold yer head under the spigot for the keg , and let the beer go down SMOOTHLY .......feels good , see ....that's what ergonomics are all about

I've tried that already but one came to me and said "what are you doing there, watching us dacing with your pre-mixed tracks?"Ugg...it hurts!!!

i think you got the perfect posture posistion right there ^^^^^^^ a nice comfortable relaxed posistion, perfect for every dj... lol



 
I take a camp bed with me and lay down between mixes......................it's great, get some funny looks sometimes though, lol

Normally I just stand, but every now and then I nick a bar stool



 
have to stop doing that jimmy someone is gonna notice the fifty you've got round the breakfast bar at home....

I have a couple of these for when I'm doing jobs. They are tall enough it does not look like I'm sitting around..but I can still get off my feet once and a while....
 
hmm.. posture. well i usually use the "buffalo stance" when i'm not "mean mugging" or or something similar, but i have been known to move in and strike a pose and hold it for a second or two.


entertainer's chair?... we put a collapsible camp chair on the countertop and used it as a throne to survey our kingdom.
 
A good stool works fine for me. I try to stand as I can, but having contramalasia in both knees makes it impractical to stand the whole night. I've never had any complaints about whether I'm sitting or standing, just keep your eyes on the floor and play music people will react good too & all will be fine;^]
 
timmy i enjoy a good stool also, but normally its about 5.45 most mornings.... not like jimmy who just happens to take one any time it suits him.... lol
 
lmao... I need my throne up to around noon most mornings, damn that buffalo wing diet..lol;^]

And I have been told he sometimes neglects too use the water closet......its quite smelly.....
 
you would have thought at his age he could change his own nappy/diaper or whatever you colonials call it...

water closet? is that a loo or a bath tub, i know over there you only got a sand pit or some part of the garden or side walk or wherever, but your right, jimmy, wash your hands and get rid of the tissues... and flush them down the water closet, lol
