I have tried to make a keyboard shortcut for smart_scratch but all it does is stutter.

Anybody using this feature please let me know.

Thanks

To me this new function works good
I tried it by mouse on skin because I haven't go a Timecode

I have no idea where to look for this feature.

I added a shortcut to enable this feature.
After enabling it, when I move backward the deck, the sound doesn't hear while when I move forward the deck, the sound get to hear.

Simply amazing!!

Ok?........english someone.

I'd have liked to help you;-(

Anyway good luck

he says when he enabled the feature there wasn't no sound back scratching.. only sound when moving the record forward..

Sorry but how do you use it basically?

I see new features but no user guide help.

You enable this feature by shortcut, after that you can scratch the song without moving the volume of that channel or without moving the crossfader as well; in this way the feature look after changing the volume of the song by itself

The song's volume is ON when you move the deck forward scratching
The song's volume is OFF when you move the deck backward scratching

Is it more clear now?

Song value?

Could you start from scratch. Step by step please.

enable this feature putting on a shortcut (for example "A") "on deck 1" and uncheck the box and let Value=0 like this

1) Now push "A" to enable this feature on deck 1
2) move forward by the mouse the deck 1 (you hear the scratched song because the volume is ON)
3) move backward by the mouse the deck 1 (you hear nothing because the volume is OFF)

As you have TimeCode Vinyl, you can move the Vinyl instead of move the deck by your mouse

Still not working for me but thanks for your help

I've made a keyboard shortcut for this function and it works as described on the GUI. I haven't been able to try it with a controller as of yet (in the process of a warranty return - again! [>;-(]). One thing to keep in mind...If you've chosen "active deck" for your shortcut, then you must make sure that the deck you are scratching on is, in fact, active. One easy way to tell is that the waveform of the active deck is brighter. Hang in there...You'll figure it out ;)

I am still lost

Is it that the feature will not work for you, or is it that you do not understand the feature?

I don't understand the feature

Look at this video and look carefully at the movement of the deck's volume (volume UP and volume DOWN by his left hand)

How does this work with the mouse?

Try to move by your mouse the vinyl of the skin forwards and backwards as if you want to scratch your vinyl (before applying the feature and after applying that one and you will notice surely the difference).

You don't need to move the volume of the deck any more

It's simpler to try than to write

My mouse does nothing when I move it
