What i am wondering is after I purchased the v-dj my friend came in from out of town last night and had the latest version of Tracktors and I will go as far as to say that I was impressed some what.
How would you say vdj stands up to tracktors and torq in the means of preformance,user friendliness and any other means that you can compare the 2---
So far I am impressed with both but being that I have played around with vdj I feel more comfort in the fact of knowing what is what and what I can do thus far.

Use whatever suits you, works for you, and you get along with IMHO.
I use VDJ because I like to make use of video, and I can write my own extensions to add extra functionality and controller support.

have you purchased vdj or about too, if you have already purchased vdj register it and then you will be able to go down to the toy box and play to your hearts content

cannot say i know tractor.. to even compare it with vdj
but this i know of virtual dj its gets better with each update
not even going to say it does video
The quality of sound has improved considerably
used with many controllers, equipment
And has a staff on forum that tries to solve all problems
Yeah... and being a REGISTERED user... not just the legal owner of the software.. gives you so many options

thanks for the insight and now I have not bought this copy yet .. my bad this is the demo and thats why I asked to be sure of getting my hands on the right think as I did with a calkwalk program I paid for today and I am sort of over my head but I am gonna learn it and make use of it . As said before I am impressed so far but all of these feats. so far are somewhat avg. to me and I already have them down to a point to where its just making small conversions from my numark cd unit to this . Ex. lil bump of the touch pad on lab top but other than that straight .
Actually what I am looking for is a sofrtware where I can stop packing around my cds and yet take my game to the next level and for some reason I feel that this is somewhat to elementary yet impressed with it becasue of the tech

When I was trying out a bunch of Demo's tractor was the one software that would not run correctly on my computer..
If your main reason for living is to scratch with two TT's, then Torq is a really good bet..
If you want ease of use, but the future ability too do some amazing things.. then VDJ is your answer.
In the end its a personal choice.. Demo all three and decide for yourself..

well you can pack up your cd boxes with a number of software that are on the market and the choice is yours, as most software companies give you a demo version to try out, but please do not put vdj in an "elementary" box of comparison to other software, you have either decided vdj is not right for you because of what has been said by your peers and you are willing to agree with that, or the sensible way is try out the possibilities of vdj for free and see how it may benefit you, either way you have got nothing to lose, i'm not one of those that will give you a sales pitch but if it don't suit it don't suit. hope you find what your looking for...

If I can add to what Tayla said on this. If you took the advice of anyone who is using a cracked version of VDJ please reconsider. Often the cracked versions are unstable, or sound bad. Look around this forum, use the search feature, most people who are fully licensed have little problems. Those that do can often trace their issues back to a conflict of some sort. If you truly wish to compare products I support that, but please do so honestly......not by listening to crack users.
