i know its been said before but i cant find it and haveno idea what im looking for so im turning to you all i think i have have a bad ram module but im not sure.
did a run with belarc.com and it said
1024 Megabytes Installed Memory
Slot 'A0' has 512 MB
Slot 'A1' is Empty
Slot 'A2' has 2 MB
Slot 'A3' is Empty
this looks to me like a bad ram module so im looking for a test or somthing what do you all think

I would check the module is properly seated, and try it in a different slot. This means you will probably lose dual channel mode if it's active, but will tell you if it's the memory or the slot.
You can get a proper memory check utility here:
http://www.memtest86.com/memtest86-3.4a.iso.zip
Unzip, burn ISO, then boot from it.
