I am trying to find a way or a place to get or record popular movie clips to make video drops while video mixing. Similar to an audio dj drop but with clips from comedys, action movies, stand ups etc. Anyone know of a piece of equip that I can hook into my dvd player or dvr box and record ? Or a site where u can get stuff like this. Thanks !

a capture card works great..... (TV CARD) that is
NVIDIA or ATI (personally the ATI's are pretty good)
make sure when u capture you do from the S-Video connection and if you are capturing from a DVR.. then the quality will be awesome
If you have camcorder too... with firewire you could capture directly to Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere

You can pull video right off of the disc to your computer. I sometimes put video snips in between videos myself and use this to pull out my clips.
