Also
How Hard Would it be to map my own controls to the xponent or make a customisable mapper for it

I can probably make it a switchable option.
Mapping yourself is easy in MIDI mode, but you will lose shift functions, progress bars, VU meters and LED operation.
Making an actual mapper is easy enough if you are capable in C..

Scott

Im thinking about creating a xponent skin in my spare time and so far you are the only other virtual dj user that i know of that uses it, what features would you like to see in it? im using mine live for the first time tonight and hopefully i should notice what the controller lacks so i can incorporate it on screen. but seeing as u have been using yours for a while maybe you will have a better insight than me.

I don't really use my Xponent much any more. I also never use skins that match controllers, I have my own skin that I designed.
So I'm probably not much use on the subject ;)
There are quite a few Xponent users though...

Scott

Hi,
I'm using the Xponent and I also love it. There are also two things that are nice to add to the mapper I think. Make the PLAY button a "Play Synchronized" button with an enable/disable switch, so you don't have to push SHIFT. The secund is that the bars will blink when there is only 30 secudes left on the track (like on Cd-players).
For a skin, whel, not very much to add I think. I'm using the "Compact 0.99" skin. BIG playlist screen, all the info I need. The space there is to show what sound effect you selected is small, maybe that can be bigger. Also maybe a line that shows the sample you have loaded in the first bank (the one you command from your Xponent). In this skin there is a big section for video, but I don't need that, so you will space to make things bigger.
Hope that I given some good point to think about.

As I commented in your other post, I'll add these to v1.11 ;)

Hi all!
need some help!
does anybody knows what command had the Dj Console STEEL, in the Mapping, for the button SHIFT? (shift - is the button that converts the 6 sample buttons, into 12)
I have now the RMX console, and I want to change the SOURCE button values, 2 do exactly what SHIFT button was doing on STEEL console.
how can I mapp it?
thank you!
