All it is,

In the timecode config you have 4 timecodes options tp coose from.

V4 VDJ Timecode Engine
V5 VDJ Timecode Engine
Noisemap
PCDJ.

To use Serato Vinyls you need to pick the Noisemap engine from the Signal dialog box Drop down.
 
noisemap? is that downloaded seperatly or is it one of the things missing from Numark Vertual Vinyl ?? trying to convert a few serato users myself!
 
skip that i'm a moose! thought it was a different engine. gonna try the other dj's time code tommorrow as virtual vynil Vinyl is like gold dust.
 
what do you mean? you will use vdj 5.1 and the time coded vynil for serato?? i think i it's possible. am not sute bbut i have read it before in this site but try asking our fellow dj's! do you already have a sound card? as for me i will be upgrading to pro version but i still also cannot decide which to buy! the numark timecodes or serato. for scratching most said the best is serato but for video mixing with time code you better use the numark virtual vynil! serato has no available software yet for video mixing!
 
U could use serato vinyl with noisemap in vdj v5.2. I use it and find that it's works well;)
 
ok i have a problem i am setting up my serato box with vdj 5.1 i went in to the sound set up went to the config for the time code but when i do the test its at 0% and i do have every thing set up right. i watched the vids on youtube over and over but i get the same result.


 
OKAY LETS FLIP THE SCRIP CAN VDJ cd time codes be used in serato?

Well you would have better luck with the PRO version 5.2.1 as Noisemap based vinyl support was improved in that version.

i have cdj 800mk2 cd players and beringer 4000ddm and serato and i want set all of that up to work with vdj but when i do the configs and the time code test its still at 0% and i have watched the set up on youtube i don tknow whats the prob
