What does that mean?
I don't understand why songs would be in the database but hidden from the search. Can't find anything in the documentation or forums. I've fixed, recursed, cleaned but it still shows up.

This is purely speculation but, I wonder if it is event noises for the PC...... "You've Got Mail" that sort of thing.

Because they have been played and therefore a record exists for them in the database. But they have not been added to the Search.
Tim - how many drives do you have?
In VirtualDJ, right click on the drive and choose Recurse. Then, click 1 time in the center browser. Press Ctrl+A to highlight all files. Now right click on the highlighted files and choose the option(s) for adding them to the Search DB. Do this for each drive.

I always use just one drive. But if I understand correctly this may be what is happening:
I have a "New Music" folder that I add new music into. It stays there and may be played in virtual DJ until every few months when I go in an categorize the music into the proper folders in my music archive. So music is played and then moved.
So, as I understand it, the "hidden from search" files are the ones I have moved to a different sopt on the drive but are still in my history, right?
