I have a brand new laptop with an integrated sound card. I also have the Hercules Consol RMX. When I use the laptop with this consol, the speakers emit a loud hum, whine, white noiise - what ever you want to call it. I have hooked it up to my Desk top and get the same results. Suggestions?

Have now realized it is from the laptop power pack - when I play from battery - no such noise....suggestions? I can not play all night ona battery!

Google search Ground loop interrupt. Its a ground loop..there are several options you can go with...
