Topic: 2x ICDX, but which mixer should I get.

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

So I have 2 ICDX tabletops, but I'm looking into mixers and can't decide. I have a couple of questions, but none of the sales associates at Sam Ash or Guitar Center know anything about ICDX.

I need a mixer that I can just plug in via usb and works as a midi for the vdj internal mixer. I want to be able to control the crossfader, volume, bass, treb, mid and the gain for each channel seperately. I'd like to also do the same when I play videos.

Any suggestions?

I couldn't see the pics, but I just want to make sure the NUmark DXM01usb mixer works the VDJ internal mixer?

It is not a midi compatible mixer but, yes you will able to mix normally.....

I am running dual icdx controllers with VDJ and a Urei 1601 and I absolutely love my set up
The sound is awesome
My 2cents
Oh yea I am also running the NI Audio 8 DJ sound card

if i just have a laptop and a urei 1601 mixer can i just work with that, i.e. change settings on my config so i can work with 2 channels on my mixer rather than just off my laptop screen? basicly so i can listen to deck one while the punters listen to deck 2

I have a pair also and use a Ecler Nuo4 which is very good and midi but I wish it was a bit smaller.

The ICDX units are quite small so you should get a small mixer to suit.

I would recommend the vestax pmc05proIV but its kind of pricey. Not alot of other options for midi mixers IMO.
