Hi guys I need some advice. I have a vci-100 with a maya 44. I can only hear one side at a time in the headphones?

Any clue?

Hi, what settings are you using in the "soundcard" tab of VDJ?

Also, are you using the little headphone jack on the end of the maya, or using some sort of other mixer with it?

I am using a 4 channel mixer and also using the mixer's headphone jack.

I can only hear the side that the fader is switched to.

Go into Config -> Options tab and set the Crossfader setting to Disabled

I tried that both both sides plays through at the same time now with no controll of a cross-fader. This is weird.

You are using an external mixer correct?
And the headphone jack on the mixer?

So all your crossfading is done there, not at the VCI.

Now, if you setup the Outputs (Config -> Soundcard setup tab) as Headphones and not External mixer. Then you can have 1 channel on your mixer be your MAINs from the MAYA (Ch 1&2) and then another channel on the mixer be your PFL-Headphone channel (Ch 3&4 on the MAYA). Then you can use the VCI to control both audio and video crossfade and the PFL in VDJ will toggle what gets sent to the Headphones channel.

So what is the best hook-up for the vci-100. I want to use the fader on the vci-100 not the mixer.

Thanks

Thanks for all of your help, but that is not working neither. Do I hook the hedphones into the Maya 44?

man I am slow...........go it thanks alot.
