I'm using a Sony Vaio laptop to run virtual dj. As a video mixer I connected an HDMI cable to a HDTV. What I found was that the signal sent to the tv included the workstation and everything else I was doing on my laptop screen. How do I send only the finished product or the small video screen to the tv?

That must be why my limited edition VDJ does that to. bummer, i like the video. this gona take much mola to fix

I got advice from the vdj staff. They said right click in the desktop, go to personalize, then display options, and I haven't done it yet , but from there I understand you tell the computer that you are using the television as a second monitor and you can drag the video window onto it and expand it to size.
