so is native to vdj?????? this ns7...video jocks wondering??
 
I will continue to wait. I really want the NS7 but i'm not in a rush to spend that kind of money (I will though) I still have yet to hear about, or see a CASE for it.

It is pro gear "but" it would look VERY UN-Pro to carry it under the arm into a venue ya know.

Any word on a permanent case for this thing? I don't really want to have a keyboard case where I would have to remove it every time I use it. I want a dedicated case for it. Does one exist? If so, how much?

I will not ask for a release date. I will wait until Numark is ready. This seems the best thing Numark has built yet and I would think that it needs to be perfect. Better than the vci 300 by FAR.
 
who cares about a case? i'd carry it in a duffle bag if it comes out before christmas :) no but seriously i have seen some good suitcases for cheap and you buy good sturdy foam.....well if you actually saw my pvc laptop stand you will see i am all about building my own stuff....but actually i see having a case that soubles as an 'elevated platform' better than an inclosed case.

as far as my 'rush' well I specifically did some artwork to make money for the ns7 i put this money on a debit card and cannot use it for anything else (well will not)
 
hope it does not work out like the vestax-300 sirkitbreaker
 
like in earlier post if it works like the vci-300 with VDJ compatibility and moving platters then it will be just fine...to be exact if the vci-300 was native to vdj i would of kept it
 
then i hope beyond hope that the vestax-300 becomes native to vdj soon
 
honestly a would say it would be atleast a year if it is contract reasons with rane and serato

I live in the islands.. finding the money for the NS7 is one thing
getting it into my country is quite another chances are it may cost up same as the original cost (shipping and custom)

with the vestax.. probably go unnoticed.... or not much of a biggie
 
interesting ... but i really dont think for one the ns7 is 'much bigger; than the vci-300 and second i would think electronics are noticed nomatter what the size
 
PSSL dot COM claims to get the numark ns7 today. when I called this morning they claimed that the warehouse want open and they may still get them in when i challenged the fact that their website had wrong product information and the date has changed far too much to be accurate they got hostile with me and hung up. just thought i would post this here just incase anyone else if following thier site and planning to 'pre=order' with them. I was also told even after pre-order i may not receive product but i would be charged and money held till i get it shipped. On a side note i do have a pre-order in with sweetwater and samash which did not involve any paying up front
 
the size of the NS7 and the vestax.. is way different..
NS7 about twice the size of the vestax

And trust me... i know how my country do things.. if it looks expensive they charge expensive
especially if it is large expensive....

Chances are I may get away with paying little or nothing on the vestax-300
Doubt it with the NS7

Laptop stand is included (or you can use your own) with the product and there is an optional flight/gig case which will be available shortly after the release.

The case will be similar in concept to the IDJ2 case take the lid off and you are ready to go. (not needed to remove the product)

The controller can be mapped in Virtual DJ and native support hopefully will follow shortly after the release.

Unless Vestax changes its licensing agreements and strategy I would not personally expect this to happen ever officially.

Currently it does not have a midi driver and it looks like there are apparently no plans to change this.

The VCi 300 looks nice but its over priced. I get a feeling that it would price drop just like the Denon HD 2500 when it first came out. Now that the numark NS7 is coming out, everyone has there eye on it. The best and most comfortable systems are not the compact ones.
 
pssl dot com is now saying jan 19th and sweetwater saying feb 17 just to keep everyone as confussed and anxious as myself
 
Anyway, i would like to see separate NS7 controllers that i could use my mixer. I would go for Ecler evo4 :)
 
there are options that match the setup of seperate contolers and use your own mixer... honestly that defeats the pupose of the ns7.....stanton has some midi controllers ect
 
Does anyone know if the Numark NS7 works with VDJ?
