My Bad.. Actually, Its " Remember " in the Options... I am messing around with it and it doesnt work well like its supposed to. If you have your settings in Remember, Its supposed to remember what you had the track set on. its not doing that. If i have the gain raised because the track was recorded low and now i play another track on the same side, The next will show the gain at the same volume. What if that next track was recorded at a normal level, Now its going to sound louder because your gain was raised. Instead of it playing at the volume you have it on " Virtual DJ To remeber your set gain for each individual track " It plays each track at that same set gain.
The only time i see the Gain going up and down is when i change the setting to " Auto "

Lots can happen if the latency is wrong. Please try the Latency set to Auto, under the performance tab. Then set your Latency to 512 under the Sound Set up page, look for the button that says ASIO or NS7 config.
If latency is wrong, lots of thing will act crazy. Good luck

I get the same audio quality from both itch and vdj with my ns7. The eq though as I discussed several times on this site is a thumbs down for me in vdj... I don't know what could cause that volume issue you have.. but if it persists, I would recommend reinstalling vdj and do a "clean all" using the vdj registry tool. Please try that and let us know the results... bless
