If you got a Dell which I also have, that is always the case, if you download drivers from the component vendor, then you will have issues..
Always update drivers from the computer maker first, unless yours is a custom built unit..., always check first to save headaches later..

cheers joey mate.will always do this from now on for every driver i need.just more testing from now till i go back to work...too much time to think now ha.
is it just download codec pack and vdj will auto find them or do i need to add the pack to vdj someway.
and i reverted back to 7.0.4 as on my gig laptop as have no problems not sure if 7.5b has a problem or not but just reverted back

The install of Codec will be triggered by the file type it is assign, which mean you don't need to put it into a particular folder and it will be used automatically if needed.....that's it...no fuss..

pseft mate...as you probably read im doing what the lads are telling me to help me.
i use the gamebooster 3 now but only on this laptop so not sure of your specs or if you need it.

i installed this last week on my PC coz i got a game for my nephew and hes been busting my balls to buy him a lappy for his gaming... hes only 11 years old, so i said id uprade my pc and he can use that.

what i do notice is when i activate gamebooster it says it freed up memory and brought cpu down so i have to believe its doing something good ha.

Would turning off the the powermixer on the video card also help the freezing/stuttering I am seeing when scrolling over the waveforms?
