I think I found out a solution that is working.
I changed the COMPATIBILITY from the properties. It was set to run on Windows 8, so I changed it to no compability run.
I loaded dozens of songs to test it and... no problem. Fast Loading!
I am using Windows 11 on a new laptop (first use). I didn't have that problem with Windows 10 on old lapton.

of course you would have issues with windows 8 compatibility mode. Virtual dj has features that require windows 10 and above now.
Not sure why you would use that to begin with.....
