Just a little consideration:
yesterday I saw that serato website says:
Scratch Live The Number One Solution for Professional DJs
What parameters have they got to say it?
For example I don't like that I can't use Serato without any external hardware..instead VDJ works only with the mouse!!

it is purely preference.
users who use serato mainly are turntablist and club dj's who choose to use turntables as their main way to interface with the software.
users who use VDJ do both mobile and club. It has many options for many controllers, etc.
so purely preference.

Couldn't agree more, we could 'debate' this until the cows come home, and still be where we started! =Þ
I've played with Serato, and I do like it, purely because it's simple and effective.
But I'm a VDJ man at heart, and would never change. The product is perfect for me and I have no reason to switch.
VDJ v Serato

Now virtual dj needs to do is design its own interface. ( Not Numark virtual Vinyl ) a box that says virtual dj on it. The Box and software equals less complications because, the hardware would be designed for it. 100 percent compatable. It would be nice if they do that but i dont think the would.............
I would be first on line to buy one :)
